Park History

This parkland was purchased in 1967 to be used for parks and other public purposes. In 1966, the Mt. McKinley Lions Club purchased play equipment for the park. The park was then named Frontierland Park.

The park was redesigned and rebuilt in 1979, and volunteers from the Lions Club helped to remove the old play equipment to make way for the new equipment.
