Wednesday, May 11: 2:30 pm: Join us for the Northwood Park celebratory ribbon-cutting and park tour! Community members will join with Northwood Elementary students and teachers to enjoy newly-installed interpretive panels and restored signage supported by Rasmuson Foundation Clean & Green funding.

Park History

This property was purchased in 1972. Fish Creek travels within the boundaries of this park. Development of the park began in 1987 whith help from the exchange club. A master plan was developed in 1987. The park is named for Northwood Street. There is a boardwalk with great viewing areas for moose and waterfow.
