Park History

This park was acquired by patent in 1965 from the Alaska Railroad. It is a small triangular park with views of the Alaska range and Mt. Susitna. The name "Nulbay" means sea gull.

The park is next to the Alaska Railroad and the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. New landscaping and a sand play area with animal play equipment were added in 2003.
