Park History

The Municipality of Anchorage purchased a portion of this parkland in 1972, and made an additional purchase in 1982. Development of the park began in 1973. Picnic areas were spread out through the park and two play areas developed.

In 1991, Exxon donated funds for new play equipment and the equipment was installed in October of that year.
