2/25/12 Duct Tape Ball Benefitting Parks for All

From there to here,
From here to there,
Duck® tape things are everywhere!

Anchorage Marriot Downtown @ 5:59 p.m.

Proceeds from the Duct Tape Ball will go to the Cuddy Family Midtown Park Parks for All playground project. With the support of Anchorage Rotary Community Services, Inc., local legislators, the medical community, Parks & Recreation, Anchorage Downtown Rotary, local non-profits and the Anchorage Park Foundation, three Anchorage moms started Parks for All to allow their children, families and friends, and all Alaskans to enjoy Alaska's awesome outdoor experience--together. The Parks for All initiative promotes inclusive play in Alaska's natural surroundings and brings recreation and play to ALL Alaskans--all abilities, all ages. The new playground will be the first fully accessible playground in Alaska, a central community play space and certified Boundless Playground. Children with disabilities will be able to play independently in a safe environment, and parents and grandparents with disabilities will be able to play with their children, without barriers, in Anchorage's crown-jewel park.
