Youth Employment in Parks
Parks and Recreation is partnering with Alaska Youth for Environmental Action to provide meaningful employment and education for 50 Anchorage youth summer 2008, ages 16-18!

The Anchorage Park Foundation strives to build Healthy Parks - Healthy People by mobilizing public support and financial resources for Anchorage parks, trails, and recreation opportunities.

Trail Maintenance Crew At Work

Expect the Coastal Trail to receive asphalt repairs from a 2 person work crew throughout the summer. The Rasmuson Foundation donated funding that made it possible, and we will be showcasing the crew progress all summer long.

 

Flight of the Raven Installation

Flight of the RavenJoin Roy Peratrovich Jr. and Mayor Begich for the unveiling of a new statue in Peratrovich Park, June 30th, 1pm.
