This week's Rasmuson Foundation announcement of an $8.3 million challenge grant to the Anchorage Park Foundation prompts us to send out a special edition newsletter to keep our friends informed.

You will have many opportunities to help improve parks with these funds over the next 5 years. The 5 components of the challenge are:

• Building The Donor Base $1 to $1 Challenge
  
• Clean & Green, Safe & Secure
• Challenge Grants
• Youth Employment in Parks Program
• Anchorage Soccer Infrastructure Improvements
