Thelma Buchholdt Memorial Picnic Shelter

$20,000
The Filipino Community of Anchorage will more than $20,000 in matching funds to construct a picnic shelter in memory of Thelma Buchholdt at Woodland Park in Spenard. Buchholdt was a historian, scholar and the first Filipino-American legislator in the United States. The memorial shelter was succesfully installed in fall of 2010.
