My favorite Anchorage Park is Woodside Park, located along Chester Creek, across the road from the Sullivan Arena. It is a nice park with plenty of green space, open space, and a nice trail. It is very important for a city to have green spaces like the one located along Chester Creek, as they give our city and its people some "breathing space." It is also very important to have trails like the Chester Creek Trail that connect our town together. Trails offer so many uses: commuting, relaxing, or maybe even training for our future Olympians -- these are just a few of the uses trails give us.
My hopes for the future of Anchorage parks are that they give us more parks and trails like Woodside, and that they also make sure to include more green space for our town.
