My favorite Anchorage park is Kosinski Fields, located by Mulcahy Stadium. It is a great place to play baseball. The fi elds have brought great memories over the several years that I've played at them. It is fun seeing how much I have improved since I started playing.
Playing baseball in Alaska is a unique experience, since there is nowhere else in the country where you can play under the sun so late into the night. These days I spend a lot of times at the fi eld working on my skills with my high school team, so we can win the big games. I think it is very important for an All-American city like Anchorage to have enough ball fi elds for America's pastime, baseball.
